How do I get to Seward?

Seward is about 201 kms (125 miles) south of Anchorage and takes 2.5 to 4.5 hours to reach, depending on the option you choose.

Option 1: Alaska Railroad

Travel Time: ~4 hours

  3. Follow the highway all the way to Seward. It’s a straight shot—just follow the signs.

  4. Park in town or at your hotel/lodging.
